SAMMY DAVIS JUNIOR Presented by LaMont Ridgell LaMont Ridgell
  • As Sammy Davis would say it: “Man, the Cat can sing - you dig?”

Frank Sinatra considered Sammy Davis Jr. “The most talented man in Show Business” and in LaMont delivers the genuine article – hard-swingin', fun-loving, and irreverent - but always humble.

This time the Cat is LaMont Ridgell - a classically trained Lyric Baritone and Tenor, from River Rouge, Michigan. His win in the San Francisco city-wide Cabaret competition led to a CD recording that found him laying down great jazz vocal tracks that have been compared to Al Jarreau, Nat "King" Cole. LaMont says he would be thrilled to have a great conversation one of those guys. Chances are they would be thrilled to meet him too.

The Cat performs an incredibly versatile repertoire that switches between cabaret to pop, to gospel, to big stage musical productions like playing lead in Man of La Mancha, Big River, and Ragtime.

In the “The Rat Pack Summit” LaMont becomes the one and only Sammy Davis...returning in living color to inhabit Sammy’s entertaining spirit while knocking out the coolest greatest arrangements in Jazz-Pop with his best friends, Dean, Joey, & The "Chairman"
